Case study 02 · Luxury real estate
Discretion,by design.
Shoaib Merchant advises clients on Mumbai's most sought-after homes. His website needed the restraint of a private conversation — and a private dashboard so he could run it himself.

01
The opportunity
Luxury iswhat you leave out.
In luxury real estate, trust is earned in quiet ways: tone, pace, restraint. The site had to feel like the opening of a private conversation — never like a listings portal.
And because properties, enquiries and content change constantly, the advisor needed to update everything himself, without calling a developer.
02
Creative & structural decisions
Champagne goldon deep black.
- Typography
High-contrast serif display type with widely spaced capitals — editorial, unhurried, closer to a private-bank invitation than a property portal.
- Structure
Introduction, curated properties, neighbourhoods (Worli, Bandra, Juhu), the founder, advisory services and a single, considered enquiry: "A private conversation begins here."
- Conversion
"Book private consultation" stays in the navigation throughout, so the next step is always one tap away.
- Restraint
Prices appear as "on request", off-market opportunities are signposted rather than exposed — the design protects the client's discretion.

03
Behind the site
A private dashboard,built in.
Behind a password-protected admin entrance sits a dashboard designed in the same visual language as the site. From it, the advisor can:
- Add and edit properties — type, location, configuration, price, status, amenities and imagery.
- Review incoming enquiries, set their status and priority, and keep internal notes.
- Edit locations, the legacy section, milestones and testimonials.
- Rewrite headlines and copy across the site, and switch the accent colour from a curated palette.
Reflection
"A beautiful front door matters. So does handing over the keys."
